The Regis community is stronger when everyone feels free to report possible infractions of campus policies or standards, or to share concerns about public safety or legal compliance. Students can file a report online (The website is managed by Guardian, a third-party hotline provider retained by Regis to receive reports online.)
If a student has a concern about a course or an instructor or has concerns about technical or administrative aspects of a course, information and the complaint procedure can be found under "Accreditation, State Regulation, and Complaints" in the Policies and Procedure section of the Academic Catalog.
If Regis College is unable to satisfactorily resolve a problem, students can contact the New England Association of Schools and Colleges or one of the following agencies in Massachusetts.
With the exception of students residing in California, students currently living in states outside of Massachusetts that are enrolled in distance education (online) courses or programs at Regis College may file a SARA complaint with MA Department of Higher Education (DHE) after exhausting Regis’ complaint procedures. The DHE is responsible for reporting the number of SARA complaints that are received against each Massachusetts SARA institution on a quarterly basis.
Students residing outside Massachusetts may also contact agencies in their home state. A list of the state agencies that handle complaints is provided below.
