Regis College is committed to celebrating diversity, and we welcome the world to our campus. Our international (non-U.S. citizen) student population comprises 3% of our full-time undergraduate population.

Our international student advisor assists international students with:

• Adjusting to American culture
• Matters concerning immigration and naturalization procedures
• Visas
• Employment authorization
• Academic support service referrals

Regis College offers students support services through our Student Success Center to those who require additional help in certain areas such as:

• peer tutoring on various academic subjects
• peer writing at the Writing Center
• study skills

International applicants for admission as first-year students are expected to complete a college-preparatory program at an accredited secondary school. Preparation for entrance should include:

• Four years of English
• Two years of foreign language
• Three years of mathematics
• Two years of science
• Two years of social science
• Three or four electives

Consideration is given to applicants whose educational background varies from the above profile, including those who have taken the GED in lieu of the traditional high school experience.

The Admission Committee places primary emphasis on the secondary school record (courses selected, grades received, and rank in class), a personal interview, one teacher and one guidance recommendation, and Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) and/or American College Testing (ACT) results. The Admission Committee does not discriminate against applicants on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, or handicap. In fact, Regis College welcomes diversity among students.

The Admission Committee considers applicants for early admission, rolling admission, and advanced placement. Decisions regarding acceptance are made within two to three weeks of receipt of completed applications.
