Donette C. Considine, PhD, LCSW is the director of the Master of Social Work (MSW) program.
With over 15 years of experience as a social work administrator and educator, Dr. Considine has taught across the practice, policy, and research curricula. As a faculty expert for both BSW and MSW programs, she has also designed lessons in field education to allow students to apply their classroom knowledge of theoretical concepts, principles, values, and ethics in a supervised setting.
In addition to Dr. Considine’s extensive experience in higher education, she has served as a research consultant in several community program evaluations and maintains a clinical practice providing counseling services to adolescents, adults, and couples.
Prior to joining the faculty at Regis College, Dr. Considine held an assistant provost position at a college in the Midwest where she provided leadership and oversight for 16 academic programs, including BSW, MSW, and DSW.
