    About

Before joining Regis College as an Assistant Professor in 2011, Dr. Webster was in clinical practice with children and adolescents, and her practice has now integrated telehealth as well. The focus of her practice is behavioral medicine, child and adolescent anxiety and depression and cognitive-behavioral intervention. Dr. Webster also had a Harvard Medical School appointment at Cambridge Hospital and was an instructor of Cognitive Behavioral treatments for the Psychiatry fellows. Her work experience includes private practices in Concord and Sudbury, at Oak St. Affiliates in Brockton, and at Cambridge Hospital Everett and Malden school locations. Dr. Webster completed her predoctoral internship at the Children’s Hospital Boston, as well and post-doctoral fellowships at Cambridge Hospital and the Judge Baker Children’s Center.

Dr. Webster’s teaching philosophy is grounded in her background in both counseling and developmental psychology. Her goal is to meet students where they are in terms of skills and potential, and to move them forward at a pace that feels challenging and motivating. She is very interested in the impact of learning differences and the need to scaffold instruction with a combination of traditional pedagogy, experiential learning and technological resources and tools. Research interest is in the area of student outcomes relative to learning differences, as well as mental health of children and adolescents, including college students.
