Lisa A. Gray, PhD, LCSW, is an Assistant Professor within the Master of Social Work program at Regis College with over 18 years of social work practice experience who has taught in higher education since 2012. Her area of clinical focus is on trauma-focused care and best practices in the treatment of children, adolescents, and their families as well as adults within the military community. Other areas of focus include cultivating community and success in online MSW programs.
During her time at Regis, Lisa has designed numerous courses within the MSW program and has served as the faculty advisor on several student-led groups to include the MSW Peer Mentorship Program (active) and the Phi Alpha Honor Society (2019-2023).
In addition to her experience in higher education, Lisa continues to keep a foot in clinical practice through her volunteer work with the American Red Cross where she provides group therapy interventions within an intensive outpatient military hospital setting for combat military personnel and veterans to help treat the symptoms of their Posttraumatic Stress and/or Military Sexual Trauma. Prior to this role, Lisa’s worked in several clinical positions within schools, hospitals, a Children’s Advocacy Center, and child welfare.
