Dean of Athletics for Regis College Pam Roecker, announces the appointment of Meghan Foley as the new director of athletic communications. Foley brings to Regis a wealth of experience in athletic communications, game management, and student-athlete engagement, making her a strong addition to the Pride’s athletics leadership team. Foley’s appointment is effective as of Mon., Feb. 24.
In this position, Foley will promote the university’s NCAA Division III intercollegiate athletic program, leading all aspects of athletic communications, including media relations, game-day coverage, digital content creation, and strategic storytelling to highlight the achievements of Regis student-athletes and teams. She will also collaborate with the university’s Office of Marketing and Communications to enhance the value and visibility of the athletic program to enhance university brand awareness and strength.
“Throughout the interview process, Meghan impressed those she met from across campus with her drive, organization, strategic ideas for enhancing broadcasting and social media content and her ability to multi-task,” said Roecker. “Meghan possesses an incredible work ethic and a passion for this profession. Her background as a former student-athlete and assistant coach, was also a key factor as it provides her with a unique perspective on the student experience.”
Foley joins Regis after serving as the assistant director for athletic communications and event management at Salem State University. In this role, she oversaw home contests for 12 varsity sports, managed student workers, coordinated game-day operations, and enhanced the visibility of the athletics program through digital content, social media, and community engagement.

While pursuing a master’s degree, Foley served as a women’s basketball graduate assistant and athletic department fellow at Suffolk University, where she was involved in student-athlete development, recruitment, and athletic facility operations. She also worked with Gordon College, Viking Sports, and the Hamilton-Wenham Athletics Department, gaining experience in sports information, live broadcasting, and event management.
A standout collegiate athlete, Foley was a two-year captain for the Gordon College women’s basketball team, surpassing the 1,000-point career milestone and earning multiple conference and regional honors. She was also selected to participate in the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association’s “So You Want to Be a Coach” program in 2020.
Foley holds a Master’s in Administration of Higher Education from Suffolk University and a Bachelor of Science in Recreation, Sport, and Wellness from Gordon College.
