Regis must provide reasonable modifications to policies, practices, and procedures when needed for pregnancy or related conditions. These adjustments must be agreed to by the student and individualized to the student’s needs.
Some examples of accommodations and academic options:
Students who are pregnant or have related conditions cannot be prevented from participating in co-curricular activities or student clubs and organizations.
Students who are pregnant or have related conditions may take a voluntary leave of absence and return after medical clearance.
When a student is cleared to return from a leave with documentation from a healthcare provider, they may return with the same standing in their academic program as when they left.
Students are only required to have certified clearance to return if there is a physical or health requirement to a program, or if required of students with other medical conditions.

Any Regis faculty or staff member who is informed by a student (or the student’s representative) that they are pregnant must inform the student that the Title IX Office is available to offer support through arranging accommodations, leave, or other support.
Regis works to protect personally identifiable information of students who are pregnant or have related conditions under Title IX guidelines.
