WESTON, Massachusetts – Responding to rapid changes in the marketing field, Regis announces the launch of its new hybrid Master’s in Digital Marketing Communication program, designed to equip business professionals with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in the fast-paced, evolving world of digital marketing. In addition, separate programs for a Digital Marketing Certificate and Healthcare Communications Certificate were also developed. Both are now accepting applications for spring 2025 semester starts.
The program, offered through the Marshall M. Sloane School of Business and Communication, combines cutting-edge digital marketing strategies with a strong foundation in communication principles. Students may choose from one of two tracks: nonprofit or sport communication.
“This new master’s in digital marketing communication will prepare students to navigate the complexities of digital platforms, data-driven campaigns, and brand storytelling, while fostering ethical practices in marketing leadership,” said Program Director Professor Colleen Malachowski. “The demand for skilled digital marketing professionals is higher than ever, and this program is designed to not only meet that demand but to shape innovative, ethical leaders who can drive meaningful engagement in the digital landscape.”
The curriculum includes courses in social media marketing, SEO and analytics, content strategy, and digital storytelling. Students complement classroom instruction with experiential learning opportunities through industry partnerships, case studies, and real-world projects. A capstone experience challenges students to design and implement comprehensive digital marketing campaigns so they are prepared to make an immediate impact in their careers upon completion of the program.
The revised program also offers a Digital Marketing Certificate which consists of three classes: Data Analytics & Communication Research Methods, Marketing Strategies, and Storytelling & Engagement. A Healthcare Communications Certificate includes Crisis Communication or Grant Writing; Health Communication; and Nonprofit Communication
Those completing the certificate will evaluate major digital communication and marketing theories and apply theory in appropriate settings, apply quantitative and qualitative research tools in professional settings, and design a strategic integrated marketing communication plan with new technologies in the field.
The digital marketing communication program reflects the university’s commitment to academic innovation and workforce readiness. It aims to prepare graduates for careers in digital marketing, advertising, public and media relations, and more; empowering them to remain competitive in a rapidly changing industry.
