Regis College’s online Master of Social Work (MSW) program has been recognized as one of the Best Master of Social Work Online Programs of 2024 by Forbes Advisor Education. This independent recognition acknowledges the university’s commitment to providing high-quality online education and preparing students for impactful careers in social work.
The MSW program at Regis offers an extensive curriculum that integrates rigorous academic coursework with practical field experience. The program is designed to meet the needs of working professionals, offering flexible online courses that allow students to balance their studies with personal and professional commitments.

The online MSW program features two distinct tracks: the 60-credit traditional track for those without a bachelor of social work (BSW) degree, and the 30-credit advanced standing track for those who have earned their BSW within the last five years. Those who earned a BSW more than five years ago can also apply for advanced standing, subject to the approval of the MSW program director.
