Military Times, an international publication that provides news and information for members of the U.S. Armed Forces, their families and veterans, has recognized Regis College with its Best for Vets Colleges ranking for 2023.
This is the first year Regis has earned this designation that showcases colleges and universities that provide extensive support services for veterans.
Through its Center for Veteran and Military Family Services, Regis offers extensive support services to veterans who enroll at the university to pursue a degree. The Center works directly with military connected learners to facilitate a seamless transition from active duty to college. This includes a dedicated veteran liaison who works one on one with veterans to assist them through the college admission process, including ensuring that all available G.I. Bill® benefits are applied to their education.
“The Center for Veteran and Military Family Services provides comprehensive support services to servicemen and women, their families and veterans,” said Nicholas Lanier, Director, Center for Veteran and Military Family Services. “Supporting veterans, service members, and their families is just one of the many ways Regis demonstrates its commitment to those who have served, helping them reach their personal, educational, and professional goals. As a veteran myself, I am truly grateful for the opportunity to continue serving fellow veterans and for the unwavering support of the Regis community.”
The Best for Vets recognition is based on responses to a nationwide survey of colleges and universities. The responses are paired with public data from the Department of Education and Department of Veterans Affairs. The Military Times data team analyzes this information and survey responses to determine which colleges and universities are awarded recognition.
