Transfer credits are evaluated individually and awarded for courses that are similar in content and depth to those offered at Regis. Every attempt is made to transfer the maximum number of credits earned prior to a student’s admission to the university.
The number of courses that apply to a particular program determines the number of credits and courses that need to be taken at Regis. Transfer students must complete a minimum of 16 courses (54 credits) to earn a Regis degree.

The Office of Undergraduate Admission at Regis College will reactivate a previous acceptance to Regis College, within two years of its original date of submission.

Due to an increase in demand, spaces for the Diagnostic Medical Sonography program are unlikely to be available for Fall 2025 transfer students. This information will be updated by March 2025. In the meantime, you are invited to explore our other academic programs.
Admission directly into the sonography program is for applicants who have completed the prerequisite criteria outlined below. Admission is based on performance in prerequisite coursework, spots available at the time, and clinical site availability.

To graduate with a bachelor’s degree from Regis, transfer applicants must have completed/transferred in four of eight of the following Core education requirements prior to starting the program:
Students at other colleges may transfer to Regis for entry into the nuclear medicine program. Admission decisions are made in conjunction with the Office of Undergraduate Admission and the faculty of the nuclear medicine program.
No student is guaranteed nuclear medicine technology program admission even if they meet the basic requirements for admission. During each fall term, Regis will admit a designated, pre-established number of qualified students based on clinical capacity into the Regis nuclear medicine technology program for the following fall semester. Those who meet the basic criteria for program admission, but who do not gain entry may be waitlisted and considered if an opening occurs. A student denied admission to the nuclear medicine technology program may continue in another academic major so long as they remain in good academic standing and meets the qualifications of that academic major.
To matriculate into the professional program, all students must minimally meet the following criteria (students may also complete some of these pre-requisites at another institution):
Direct accept students still need to have an interview during their second year of college; however, they are guaranteed a spot in the program as long as numbers one and two above are met.
Program admission is highly competitive, not guaranteed, and is space-dependent at the time of application. The program only starts in the fall and is a full-time program.

To start directly in the program, we require that all pre-requisite courses be completed before July 1 of the application year.
Please contact your transfer admission counselor with your official transcript, so we can do a transcript credit evaluation for pre-requisite evaluation completion. You can complete the remaining pre-requisite courses at another institution. Please contact your transfer admission counselor for transfer equivalent courses.
The Director of the Dental Hygiene program reserves the right to interview an applicant for the Dental Hygiene program.
The associate's program takes a minimum of 2 years to complete, and the bachelor’s takes 3 years to complete
A $4,000 extra fee is required before starting the program to cover the cost of materials, scrubs, etc.
Program admission is highly competitive and is not guaranteed. Regis’ policy allows transfer students seeking entrance into the nursing program to apply for either the spring or fall term.
